Blood, Tits, & Scowling Part II: The Superbowl, or the game of Kind of Inconsequential Teams

Well, at least as far as I am concerned.

THE 49ERS / HOUSE GREYJOY, the IRON BORN

The San Francisco 49ers, so named for the San Francisco gold rush. And House Greyjoy, otherwise known as the Ironborn. These are teams born of metals.

Alex Smith is Theon Greyjoy, the boy whose opinion of himself is greater than anybody else's. And he is brought to task, belittled and ruined on the sidelines, a regular Reek, sadly fingerless, unable to throw a ball.

Kaepernik is Asha Greyjoy, the much more awesome child of the Iron Isles, who leads the troops for her father. Despite being a girl/rookie...she commands the respect of her troops and fans, and wins many battles.



THE RAVENS / THE RAVENS

In  GAME OF THRONES, ravens are the messengers, carrying dirty deals and schemes and war strategy. I'm rooting for the Ravens, I think. But maybe it's just because I like birds. Ray Lewis is going to fly over everybody.
